Brooke Dixon, Co-Founder

As Co-Founder and Developer of Hourly, Brooke brings more than 15 years of leading application development to the company. Brooke started his technology career at The Motley Fool, where he served as Director of Engineering, and helped to build the website from a startup into one of the largest web properties on the Internet. Since that time, Brooke has worked on a number of broad based strategy and engineering projects for Match.com, SONY, The Port Authority of NY & NJ, Unity08 and The Publicis Groupe.

Lynn Dixon, Co-Founder

Responsible for the initial concept of Hourly, Lynn has spent the past 15 years working in business development and customer relations for a broad range of leading Internet and traditional brick & mortar companies, including: CBS MarketWatch, The Motley Fool, TR’s Dreamlife.com, Merrill Lynch, Young & Rubicam Advertising and Daniel Boulud and catering arm, Feast & Fetes.

Bob Roth, Community & Engagement

Focused on building content for and engaging the Hourly Community, Bob brings over a decade of marketing and thought leadership experience from causes, clients and corporations, including 4INFO, broadcast.com, Sam’s Club, SimpleNet, The University of Chicago, Rockfish Interactive and Yahoo!. He has spent time with Clotaire Rapaille’s Archetype Discoveries team, twice been on Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies list and worked on several projects that have won awards for their idea, design or execution.

Josh Guttman, Strategic Advisor

Josh is the CEO of Surphace (fka Sphere). He was an early member of the business team, joining Sphere in November 2007 as Director of Business Development and assumed responsibility for advertising, design and products before assuming the role of COO in March 2009. He was named CEO eight months later in November of the same year. He has successively negotiated and managed numerous partnerships with publishers such as Tribune, TMZ/Telepictures, USTA, Dow Jones, Glam, Interactive One, Name Media and vendors such as The Rubicon Project and Pulse360, among others.

Carl Leubsdorf, Product Advisor

A leader in product development, Carl has recently joined Hourly as Senior Product and Systems Architect Advisor. Prior to joining the hour.ly team, Carl served as the General Manager for Asia Pacific Operations at Match.com, as well as International Chief Technology Officer, where he managed all integration, technology and product development activities outside North America. Earlier in his career, Carl served as the Senior Director of software integration for The Motley Fool (where we all worked together!), and as the web master for the Calvert Group.

Pat Garner, Marketing Advisor

A seasoned global business executive, Pat brings forty years of diverse multi-cultural marketing, entrepreneurial and operating experience to Hourly. Pat’s career at The Coca-Cola Company spans three decades, with time spent in senior marketing roles in the United States and Japan, as well as President of the Philippines and Southeast and West Asia operating divisions. In 2000, Pat became the first CEO of the Motley Fool, and since then has undertaken several ‘intra-preneurial’ initiatives with Nextel, launching it’s Hispanic business and first pre-paid wireless brand, and Intersections Inc. Pat currently is giving back as an Adjunct Professor at the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the UNC: Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill.
